Our hero returned from yet another quest to report his findings, he tightened the reins and slowed his gallant steed to a stop as the Queen towered over him. She bent down to listen as the Knight explained, “They’re on the other side of the river. Northmen building boats to cross and raid into the countryside.” The knight would be winded, having hours ago nearly dodged death from a hail of arrows. Koria nodded with a smile and rose with her royal armor. “You stay here, I will deal with them personally,” Koria said those words with some class. The knight was surprised, no Esterland armies coming to back up their majesty. Then it clicked, why need to pay for an entire professional force when you basically got one to replace 500 soldiers. They are needed, cause she won't ever always be around. Militias can’t stop professional soldiers by themselves. He watched the armored queen stride over the trees and farmlands toward the river, and he knew she was ticked off. The tone she said it in was oddly different from when they met at the tavern. Our hero was briefly shown the other side of the moral queen. The warrior queen and Koria is going to make them pay for the mere thought of invasion.
