It depends on the design; some are continuous and some are stiched together (some would need probably 50m of thread to make them and that's just too long). The best advice I can give you is to try as many different ways of making jewelry as possible. Nobody told me how to do this so i don't know if i'm doing it "by the book" or not (i don't even know if you can make it "wrong?), but i'm happy with it and that's all that matters
