Alice Walker was born into a very traditionalist small-town family that did there best to shelter her from things they deemed "wrong" and tried to their best to make her girly despite strong inclinations to the contrary. She poured a her frustrations into study, got a scholarship at a good technical university and got a job at Fei Robotics in sales and customer relations. Away from home she met people with more liberal views on matters: most notably Marcos Molina, a young man with a rather dull office job that saved up his energy for after work that she got on with. Eventually they began dating, which he quite enjoyed. She opened up on issues with him that would have resulted in a row at best with her parents and he'd talked about with it, most notably about gender. He was supportive of whatever she chose on that front and since she'd met his ex Stanley she believed him on that. Even so, Alice dithered on the subject. Until she eventually found out some secrets about the Gynoids her employer was selling and that she worked with, eventually working out something of their plans that she saw as an opportunity to get the business done in one go. It worked, Allison the Android was born and he was happy with his new body.

After a battery of tests and modification were done and with some discussion, Allison was allowed to follow up on a special policy of Android conversion on a limited scale. Mostly this was directed towards various other Transmen employed by Fei Robotics who might be particularly reluctant to conversion and in a position to disrupt plans. The biggest exception however was with Marcos. Allison had been in communication with him electronically after telling him that "something had come up" for a couple months, but with mass conversion mere weeks away and the risks inherent in this contacted him and arranged for a secure meet up in one of Fei Robotic's testing facilities.

Allison had told Marcos that some big changes had happened in his life, though it still came as a shock when they met face to face and he showed Marcos footage of his Conversion. Despite a bit of dithering on his part, he accepted. The deal was sealed with a nanite laden kiss and a couple of playful injections for good measure. Twenty four hours, a few hundred feedstock pucks and some exploration of their new bodies latter, Android GN-2(A)/V1/001/013 Marcos Conversion was complete. The product was typical of the Android process: male in form, slim and athletic if somewhat androgynous and definitely attractive. The world was changing, but together they'd face them along with a small but (admittedly slowly) selection of bros.
