They go out of their way to avoid other Imps. When a stranger ventures into their territory, they usually flee the area. Due to this odd behavior, they are considered by many to be some kind of forest cryptid.

Though their reclusive reputation sometimes inspires fear, Sylvan is harmless. They prefer their own company, but would never intentionally harm anyone else. In fact, they regard all living things as precious, an important part of the cycle of life. Even so, they do not trust easily. They have only one close friend - Juniper , who often affectionately refers to them as 'Sylvie'. To the rest of the world, they are known simply as the 'masked spirit'.
