"Xevphera? Xevphera!" The teacher called, Xevphera had managed to fall asleep in class. Lomadia leant over and whispered in her ear.
"Xevph, they're serving sushi in the cafeteria today." Xevphera stood up and pointed to the ceiling.

"It's time to chow down!" Some people laughed at this and Xevphera realised that she was in class and sat back down.

"Another nap? You know between you and Xephos" the teacher started

"Huh?" Xevphera turned to see Xephos asleep.

"The disciplinary comitee must be quiet taxing for you." Xevphera turned to face the teacher and rubbed her head, giggling.

"No it's alright, I can handle it!" The teacher looked cross

"Stay after class!" he yelled causing Xevphera to moan.

The clock striked signalling for the end of the lesson. Xevphera had her head on the desk and Lomadia was packing her things away.

"Oh not again!"

"You have it rough Xevph, working all night, only getting sleep during class. You're like a vampire." Xevphera sat up as fast as she could.

"Huh? What are you talking about?! You don't think vampires really exist do you?!"

"No ovcourse not." Lomadia answered calmly making Xevphera more relaxed.

"Yeah me neither." She said as Lomadia stood up.

"Well hang in there."

"Huh? Are you leaving now? If you have time can you stay and study with me?"

"Why?"

"Because I hate studying with Xephos! It's so boring!"

"Well why's that? I thought you two were pretty good friends."
"Huh?"

"Oh, by the way, Xephos left already."

Xevphera turned around to see that the classroom was empty.

"Huh?!"

He was lying in the horse shed. The horses were neighing, and the white one next to him leaned down and ruffled his hair with his nose. Xephos woke up. "What is it Billy?" He looked over to the door where Xevphera was standing with her hands on her hips.

"Aha! I fount you at last!" Xephos moved around. "Guardians should set an example! And not skip out early!" she stated as she walked towards him. The horse stood on its hind legs which made Xevphera back off.

Xephos patted the horse.

"Easy there Billy, calm down. She's a very simple, uncomplicated girl, she's by no means a threat to you. Even if she tried to be."

"What did you just say?!"

Xephos stood up. "You came to bring me back to class?"

"No it's over, you can't just skip out when we have to stay late! Now we have to go and control the switch over." She held up Xephos' arm band. He looked at it before turning around, grabbing it and walking away.

"I know that."

There are places in Xephos' mind that are totally off limits to everyone else.

"Friends? Huh." She turned to the horse. "You know for whatever reason whenever Xephos sleeps next to you, he sleeps like a baby." she walked towards the horse, but turned and ran away when it lifted its front legs menacingly. When she had gone the horse tried to hide the tablets under the hay with his hoof.

Ever since that day...
Israphel was stood next to the window reading his book.

That snowy night... there's been one simple wish that I've been holding onto.

Xevphera was stood outside looking at him.

"How's Israphel tonight?" Xephos' voice called. Xevphera looked shocked and turned to him. "I know he's your hero." she looked annoyed.

"I wasn't just looking at Israphel! Stop acting like you know everything!" she ran to the side of the roof and looked out over the campus. "So far so good! Seems to me like the night class is behaving just fine this evening. And it doesn't look like anyone from the day class is wondering around either!" Xevphera giggled as she saw Xephos watching her. "All in all its a peaceful night! Safe and sound at the academy!"

Xephos looked away.

"Come on, you don't really believe that."

"Huh?"

Xephos walked away then stopped. "You don't honestly think that things are going well between the day class and night class?"

The wind began to blow. "Mmmr, ovcourse I do! Its my hope that vampires and humans can all get along someday. That's what were working towards."

"I know the headmaster thinks that the night class is on his side, that they believe in his pasaphist views, and they're good vampires. But I don't believe it. Not for a second."

Xevphera turned to him. "Yeah but... uh-"

Xephos put his hand around his armband. "I agreed to be a guardian for just one reason. No matter what, someday, I will find the most effective way, to destroy every one of those beasts in human form."

Xevphera looked sadly at him. "I'm going inside." he called before leaving Xevphera standing on the roof, who looked down to the floor.

He's always been like this.

A memory flashed through her head.

"I'd like you to meet Xephos Blue. Starting form today I will be taking care of him. Be nice to him Xevphera, his family was killed by a bad vampire." headmaster Honeydew's voice rung.

I could see his hatred.

She walked across the rooftop.

It's taken four years and he's opened up a little bit. We can joke and I feel closer. But, still, I get it.

She looked up at the window and saw Daisy looking down at her.

Not every vampire is as calm and nice as Israphel.

Daisy walked away.

I mean even my parents, who I have no memory of, could have easily been attacked by vampires. But still...

She walked back the way she came and gasped before sighing. "Ah geez, day class students are on the prowl again." She put her hand on the small wall that surrounded the roof and pushed herself over. She put a foot down on a branch before jumping back and grabbing the same branch with her hands. She let go and landed on the floor in front of the two girls. One was sat down and the other kneeling next to her.

"I want your name and class right now." Xevphera stood up and tugged at her armband. "I think you both know that school rules strictly forbid you from walking around at night! It's dangerous, go back to your dorm!"

"We just came out here to take a picture of the night class students." the kneeling girl stated

"What's the big deal?" the sitting girl began to stand up "Its harmless! AH!" she began to walk forward but seemed to be hurt.

"Are you ok? Can you walk?" her friend asked

"Did you get hurt?! Oh no you're bleeding!" Xevphera began to push the girls "Go back to your dorm, now!"

"What?!" both of the girls asked confused.

"Hurry up!"

She heard a noise form behind her and pulled out her Artimus (A long rod type anti-vampire weapon the headmaster had given her in case of an emergency.) and pointed it at the people.

"Who's there?!"

Lalna and Simon were stood behind her, Simon grabbed the end of the Artimus. It zapped him.

"Oh scary. The headmaster has trained you well." Simon stated casually.

"Oh my gosh! Look it's Simon Lane and Lalna Idol from the night class!" one of the girls squealed

"No way!" the other squealed and they both began fangirling over the two night class students.

Simon looked at his hand where the Artimus had zapped him.

"No need for all this fuss, we just came out here because we smelt blood." Lalna stated, he pushed the end of the Artimus with his finger. "You're so mean Xevphera!" he added, his eyes glowed red as he looked up at her. "You know the real reason why we came out here tonight." he closed his eyes and lifted his head up in the air slightly as the wind pushed his hair around steadily. "Ah, you smell so nice."

"I don't believe it! What do we do?!" one girl squealed.

"He likes our smell!" the other stated.

"Now listen here Idoi! If you so much as - uh-" Xevphera began, Lalna grabbed the Artimus and brought his other hand to Xevphera's. "I will... uh." She looked down to where he was holding her hand.

"Did you fall?" he asked

"Uh" she took a step back, but Lalna still had her hand and brought his own hand down to her wrist.

"What smells so good, Xevphera..." she struggled against his grip. "Is the smell, of your blood."

Oh no! That must have happened when I dropped from that tree!

She struggled against him and winced as he pulled her closer. "Lalna!" he tightened his grip on both her and the Artimus and put her hand to his lips, his eyes glowing more red than ever.

"Really. It is just so... tempting" He revealed his fangs that then pierced Xevphera's hand and drew blood. The girls squealed.

"Are those fangs?!"

"He's a vampire?!"

Oh no!

She dropped the Artimus and pulled on her own hand trying to het it out of Lalna's grasp.

"Lalna, let go!" She used all of her strength to try and get him off, but he just kept drinking the blood from her hand. "I said let go!"

The girls fainted as Lalna pulled his mouth from her hand, licking his teeth.

"Oh but I want more!" he put his arm over her shoulder ad pulled her collar down. "May I partake from... your neck?"

Simon turned his back on them.

"No you cant have any at all now let go of me!" Xevphera stated and Simon turned to face them again "Laln-"

A gun loaded form behind them. Xevphera was pulled from his grasp and the gun was now up against Lalna's back. Lalna turned around.

"Drinking blood on school grounds is strictly forbidden. Has the smell of blood made you loose control? Vampire?" Xephos asked

"Xephos, hold on!" Xevphera shouted and Lalna smirked.

"But I, already tasted her." he stated. He licked his lips and Xephos fired the gun.

Lalna was grimacing, waiting for the pain. "You cant shoot him idiot!" Xevphera had knocked Xephos' hand and the bullet had hit the tree. Simon sighed in relief.

"That Bloody rose..." everyone turned to see Israphel, who was walking up behind them. Xephos aimed his gun at the air. "Would you please put that away?"

Lalna seemed happy that he didn't get shot, but scared about what Israphel was going to do to him.

"I'm afraid that weapon you have Is rather threatening to us." Israphel stated as he walked up behind Lalna.

"Israphel, I- I" Xevphera began. Lalna sighed in a relaxed way as Xephos lowered the gun. Israphel grabbed the back of Lalna's collar.

"Ill escort these fools to the headmaster myself to receive their punishment." he stated

"Dorm president Israphel." Lalna said in a shaky voice

"Xephos, is that alright?"

Xevphera turned to look at Xephos "Xephos?" he put the gun back in his jacket.

"Just get them out of here, Israphel."

Israphel turned to Simon, who gasped "Simon, because you did nothing to stop Idoi, you are guilty too." Simon put his hand to his head and groaned. Israphel then turned and looked back to the passed out girls. "Now then... for the two who have fainted."

Xevphera looked behind as Herobrine jumped down from the tree and put her hand to the girls face. "Ill have their memories of tonight erased." Israphel stated as a purple light glowed from Herobrine's hand. "And I shall take them to the headmasters as well. Is that ok?"

"Uh/ yes. Thank you." Xevphera bowed.

"I'm sorry he scared you, that was wrong of him, Xevphera." Xevphera put her hands up.

"No its ok." she put her hands behind her back "It was just a bite, more of a nibble really."

Xephos grabbed her wrist and pulled her away "Lets go."

"Hold on Xephos, what are you doing?!"

Israphel watched them go.

"This place reeks of blood and its making me sick."

They stopped in the middle of a bridge and Xephos turned to her.

He pulled off his tie and wrapped it round her hand.

"The smell is disgusting and they like it!" he turned and began to walk away. "Further proof they are beasts."

Xevphera pulled her hands to her chest.

Xephos has been nursing the blackness in his heat for 4 years.

They were now back at the headmasters little building.

Is it possible for me to erase that?

She turned on the tap, Xephos' tie lying next to it. She began to dry her hair.

Just when it feels like were beginning to get closer...

She turned off the hair dryer and put it down.

That's when he inevitably pulls back again.

The door opened and Xephos walked in, Xevphera turned her head "Hey! You cant just barge in like that!"

Xephos looked at her "It isn't my fault the bath in my dorm closes at dusk. The headmasters bath is all I can use!"

Xephos began taking off his top.

"Don't strip naked in front of a girl!"

He dropped his top on the floor and she threw a tube of toothpaste at him. He sighed.

"Wait a sec, you just thought, 'it doesn't matter because she's not a real girl' didn't you? Alright fine then." she turned back to the mirror, Xephos leaned over and sniffed next to her. "What are you doing?!" Xephos turned away.

"The smell of blood is gone."

"Just shut up!" she looked down at her hand. "My hand did finally stop bleeding though... you know according to legend I might just turn into a vampire myself."

Xephos turned and looked at her as she continued to dry her hair.

"I was attacked by a vampire 10 years ago too."

Xephos looked to her neck.

"I guess my blood must be really tasty to them!"

He began breathing heavily but Xevphera didn't notice, she turned off the hairdryer and Xephos looked away.

"Just means I need to be a little bit more careful. Its my duty as a guardian to protect Yog Academy day and night! Those guys can bite me all they want, but i'm gonna heal up anyway!" she turned to where Xephos had been standing and winked, but Xephos slammed the door on her.

Xephos fell against the wall, his arm to his head, breathing heavily. "Don't Xevph." he bit down on his lip and made it bleed, he licked the blood. "Don't come any closer."

A tablet dropped into a wine glass full of water and dissolved, turning it red. "Suspended for 10 days! For a taste of Xevphera's blood it was totally worth it!" Lalna stated. he was sat on a couch in the night class dorm. Simon was sat on the table in front of him.

"I wouldn't let dorm president Israphel hear you say that. Hell get angry."

Lalna sat forwards "That's what I want." he rested his cheek on his hand and looked at the glass of red liquid. "I'm sorry but living on just blood tablets alone just isn't enough for me. Her blood was so irresistible! I just-"

Israphel walked around the corner and Simon noticed him. "Hey..."

Lalna gasped and looked to Israphel who slapped him round the face.

"You just?"

Lalna looked away "I'm so sorry."

Israphel walked round to the other side of the sofa and the stairs.

"Well that's what you wanted wasn't it?" Simon asked casually, Lalna punched the air above his head "Shut up, shut up, shut up, SHUT UP!"
