It was raining on that day,When once again he turned up late,
Holding an umbrella in the pouring rain.
He stood next to me,
Pulled me close tightly,
And he said 'baby go, cuz I just care too much about myself.'
Then looked down into my eyes, 'you just need way too much help.'
He turned and walked away,
Left me in the pouring rain,
Could he not even feel my pain?
Said its for the best,
As he turned and left,
And said 'baby leave, cuz I can't give you everything I got.'
Then got onto his bus, but he was all I'd got.
