"You know I'm stupid jealous right?"
"Yep, that's why I called." Eri patted Blue's soft pink nose. They had only been at Kasai Riding Center a couple of hours, but Eri felt it'd be polite to call home to check in. Reina hadn't returned from her graduation trip yet so Eri took it upon herself to call her personally. It was a nice sisterly call until Eri mentioned her location, a major bucket list item for her younger sister.
"Why didn't I think to come home earlier, I could've gone with you!" She sounded pouty and Eri rolled her eyes. "I doubt your friends would approve. Ditching them to go to Japan. So not like you." She picked up a brush and started on Blue's neck. "I'm sure you'll get another chance to tag along. Granted, if you do I'll be wiping the floor with you." She chuckled.
"So not true!" Reina yelled, earning some complaints from her friends. That fact that her sister was awake when she called gave her only mild concern.
"Shouldn't you be asleep?" Eri asked.
"Yeah but now how can I?! You're always getting to travel farther than I ever do and now you're in Japan! You have to tell me everything about your trip!"
Eri thought for a moment, mentally going over her trip thus far. She'd spent most of it sleeping and eating on the plane and only now really got the chance to stretch her legs and explore the grounds with Blue, who really seemed to enjoy the colder weather. It was exciting for sure, but she never really felt the same enthusiasm her sister did when it came to travel. She was here to build her career, not be a tourist.
"I'll tell you all about it when we both get back home. Now please, get some sleep. Don't be a nuisance to your friends."
There was a long sigh from the other side of the line before Reina yawned and backed down. "Fine, but at least send me some pictures while you're there."
"Will do." Eri confirmed before hanging up and pocketing her phone. "Another walk won't kill us, right Blue?" She asked the roan mare. Blue stretched her nose out to her stall door as if to offer to open it.
    "Didn't think so." Eri chuckled.
