The Oneida Falls are part of the Ricketts Glen State Park in Pennsylvania, USA. This is one of the most beautiful parks I have ever seen, but the two glens in it sure can be treacherous!Please see my Waterfall Gallery here [link] for more beautiful shots

wow this looks great!!! was this taken during the day? I"ve been trying to take some daylight water photos - to get a smooth water look with a slow shutter speed, and the photo gets too exposed

Thanks, I use various ND filters, depending on the light. That allows me to keep the shutter open longer,

hmm.. what's an ND filter? I can keep the shutter open for a long period of time too, but.. too much light comes in! haha - is that what a filter does? makes it not so exposed?

Yes, a ND filter makes a scene darker so one can expose longer,

But sadly it was that way only for a few hours during a 2 day trip, the rest was bright sunshine followed by rain
