AH. Volume six has been great so far. 8'D I'm really enjoying all this content for Ozpin. He was one of the characters I liked a lot even originally, he always intrigued me. Now I like him even more. xD
And poor Oscar does not deserve all this drama.
All in all I just fee sorry for everybody, nobody is happy in this situation and everybody is hurting from something.
Hopefully we'll still get a happy ending! :'D

Oh! Well it's an interesting show to start with.
It's set in a fantasy universe where there are monsters called Grimm that feed off of Negative emotions. In order to counter these monsters Humanity has Hunters who are trained to fight them. Humans also have power fulled by the strength of their soul which allows them to create a defensive shield for themselves called 'Aura', as well as every human is born with a unique ability called a semblance. (Think random super powers) There's also a human/animal hybrid race called the faunus that have the same Aura/Semblance abilities as humans.
The story starts by following the lives of a group of four girls and the friends they make while attending one of the schools that raises Hunters, and then their journey moving forward as more and more stuff happens that derails everything. ( I DON'T WANNA SPOIL TOO MUCH)
It gets more intense storyline wise the longer it goes on, a lot of the earlier appeal to the series was in the combat sequences because the man who came up with the idea for this story, Monty Oum, was a phenomenal combat Choreographer. SERIOUSLY IT'S SOME MIND BLOWING STUFF. He wrote the story along with his two friends Kerry and Miles. Sadly he died so the combat isn't as good as it used to be, but it's been making up for it a bit more in raw story telling and the fight scenes are starting to recover more.
So all in all its just an interesting mix of fantasy, action, and fascinating ideas.
Oh, yeah, and nearly every weapon... is also a gun.

and as the game shuts down for good Momon decides to stay till the end

I think the worse part about this whole process is the lack of empathy from anyone, but Ruby really. The kid got punched in the face from Christ’s sake and no one asked if he was okay. No one really cared that Jinn showed that Ozma takes over the lives of his hosts. Hell, at least give him a thank you for telling you to summon Jinn in the first place. All he’s gotten is animosity from people because of Ozma/Ozpin. Qrow outright tells Oscar, a 14 year old, that his life doesn’t matter and that he’s nothing but a meat husk for Ozma. Oscar, mentally, will probably break at this rate and I still doubt that anyone will give a damn.

She has shown kindness to Oscar. I remember knowing that she even helped him and read a story to him. To me, that shows Maria being perhaps the only person who has treated Oscar with love and kindness.

Actually,
Ruby was lying to Oscar, for she never believed what she was telling Oscar. Marina has been the only person that has not mistreated, or even lied to Oscar.

If that's your opinion ok,but I doubt that Ruby, the resident all-loving-hero would lie to Oscar.
That interpretation was Qrow and he was way less objective.
Ruby took it upon herself to comfort him when Oscar was having the existential crisis of his life. After seeing Ozpin's past how could she not feel some compassion.
So, to be fair both Ruby and Marie were the few who weren't ignoring or trying to kick his head in.
