For those who don't know this Mexican Telenovela: Marimar is a Mexican Telenovela about a rags to riches girl that seeks revenge against the family of her husband for her arrest and the murders of her grandparents.
About Coco: A boy who loves music in a music hating shoemaker family travels to the lanf of the Dead on Dia de Los Muertos/Day of the Dead to unravel the mystery of his missing great-great grandfather.
How I would make it work: Besides her established quest for revenge, Marimar and Sergio and their allies are on a mission to unravel the mystery of an accident with their family, the British government, the royal navy and Marimar's long lost sister.
