Do you remember when we first met? Your dad came over like any other day, but he brought you instead. That was the start of grade six.

Do you remember those summers spent together? Flawless and seemingly endless, we would go camping, swimming, picnicking together.

Do you remember the crap that we went through when you found out that I liked you? As hard as that was for us, it brought us closer.

Do you remember when we had english class together in grade nine? I could hardly keep myself from laughing when you did stupid things.

Do you remember that week before you moved, the summer before grade ten, you didn't leave my house except to help pack? I was scared from watching your horror movies, but you made it all okay.

Do you remember when we could hang out, not say a word, and still know what the other was thinking?

I want you to come back, even if just for a visit. Your smile brightens my day and your laughter takes away the gloom that hangs over my head.
