This is a tree out behind the dorm where I live. I took the picture just a bit before winter. The red was so bright it just popped - kinda like my flags pic. But it was such a gloomy day that it didn't turn out like I wanted So I decided not to waste a cool picture: I ran it through Arcsoft Photo Impression (crappy, but free) and then chnaged the size in ms paint (because I can't get it to work right in photo impression...). The effect is called firelight. I almost titled it that, to tell the truth, but the current title is in keeping with the religious allusion I wanted in the theme of the original idea.

Oh, and there's actually a secret to this picture...
