Description The latest in my German panoramics.

On Friday and Saturday I spent some time in Heidelberg. Heidelberg is a very quaint and rustic city with lots of 17th century architecture. It has a traditional flavour that's fading from many German cities, but Heidelberg still retains its old German charm. Not hard to see why the American military is still there.

This panoramic was made from about 9 shots on a hazy hot Saturday morning. To the right you can see the Altes Schloss, and below is the main old city of Heidelberg.

Awesome job. Do you use a tripod when you make these shots? I can only assume that you do. You inspired me to try this on my trip to San Francisco with my digital camera. I haven't worked on it for awhile because It was so damn hard to piece toghether. The sky was different shades in every picture, and I had to scale and resize them to get them to fit toghether right. It was a tedious task indeed. The problem was that I took the pictures out of the windows of coit tower without a tripod, and probably from varying distances. Those few inches make a huge difference when you have to piece those photos toghether. Maybe I will finish it soon, it did look amazing even though it was all different shades and whatnot.
