Description
This is the first in a series of three shots of the grand cathedral in the French city of Strasbourg. In the summertime the city streets are loaded with tourists in the evening and there's a great light display at the cathedral. The usual exposure times for these shots is about 8-10 seconds at ƒ8.

I did these shots with my Canon A70 digital. Since I only had a very tiny portable tripod I had to wing this one; I had to angle the camera in such a way to get a decent pic of this massive structure... none of them were straight because I couldn't see through the display so this had to be corrected in photoshop. Enjoy.

Strasbourg is a terrific city, a very suitable capital of Europe.
