…and then there was a very familiar voice Ben thought he would never hear again…
Rey, Ben, the Force will be with you. Always.
Ben felt Rey’s determination rising with every step she took to lift herself. The same determination she had every time they had faced each other in the past. It was something that has always frightened him, something he knew too well… something that remembered Ben of himself. This stubbornness he was never able to let go of, the longing to finish what he started. Rey was going to kill the Emperor. She wasn’t going to stop. She was going to put an end to it.
Ben looked around. He didn't know exactly where he was, but he knew Rey was up there and he needed to get to her. He was of no use to her from down here. Spotting a rather acceptable place to hook himself on to, he jumped, barely reaching it with one arm. One wrong grip and he would fall back into the darkness. Rey's words suddenly echoed through his head, like she was standing next
to him. Her voice was shaking, but the words were strong and clear.
