"How in the world did you get pregnant, Kyuu-chan? You are a vampire after all…" Edward asked as the Cullens made themselves comfortable in my living room. Leah, still in wolf form, lay in the corner. Seth and I had just gotten dressed when they arrived.

I gave Edward an incredulous look, thinking the answer to him.

"Oh." Was all he said. Alice smacked him in the arm. "Right, sorry. Kyuu-chan used her morphing ability to become a human so she wouldn't be able to hurt Seth while they… um…"

"Got friendly?" Emmett interjected. Rosalie shot daggers at me with her eyes. It was all I could do not to stick my tongue out at her. That was why she hated me: I could become human whenever I wanted. What she did not understand was that it was never really worth it as it took a lot of energy to do and I had to eat twice as much if I did.

"That's a good idea, Carlisle…" Again, Alice slapped Edward.

Carlisle spoke his thoughts. "Kyuu-san, considering how fast Renesmee grew and knowing that this child has werewolf blood in it, I recommend expanding your stomach about two centimeters everyday. We don't know how fast this one will grow." He stood from kneeling in front of me. "This time, I truly think there's no other child like this…" He trailed off as Bella, with Renesmee in her arms, and Michael appeared in the room.

Michael marched directly over to me. "This is some kind of sick joke, right?! I- I- but..." His face had the look of a kicked puppy.

I nodded and smiled at him.

"It's- it's not FAIR!" He stormed over to Seth. "YOU DID THIS TO OKAA-SAN! WHAT IF SHE GETS HURT?! I'LL FUCKING HOLD YOU RESPONSIBLE, YOU BASTARD!"

I sighed, considering dragging Michael away from Seth when another idea hit me. "Hmmm… I should probably call Roxy-chan… In case she has to come home to a new addition to this house hold…" I went to stand up, but, as I predicted, Michael already had the phone and gave it to me as he sat down next to me, tucking himself against my side. I pat his head affectionately then dialed Roxy's cell phone number.

"What the fuck do you want? I'm busy with these guys!" Was the first thing she yelled at me.

"I just wanted to see what you were…" I heard voices in the background. "Did you put our conversation on speaker phone?"

There was a pause from Roxy but the voices in the background kept going. "N-No?"

I sighed. Two can play at this game. I put a finger to my lips, signaling to the others to be very quiet, and put my own phone on speakerphone. "Doudatteii (whatever), I just called to see if you got there alright."

I heard Aro in the background. "Is that Kyuu-san, Miss Roxanne? Are you talking to Kyuu-san?" I ignored him, as did Roxy, I assume, as she did not respond to him.

"Yeah, got here just fine. What's got you so fuckin' paranoid, anyway?"

"Oh, you know, sometimes there are rocky flights to places that we do not find out about until it is too late. I shall let you go have fun then. Oh, one more thing, we just found out that I am pregnant. Have a nice trip, Roxy-chan." I hung up just as Roxy was starting to yell something at me and sighed. "I hope she does not take that too hard… Oro?" I looked down at my stomach and placed a hand on it, feeling a small pressure starting to build up there.

Seth was there in an instant. "What's wrong?"

I smiled at him then expanded my stomach a little. "Nothing is wrong, the baby is just growing that is all. I will have to stay on my toes." I looked over at the still agitated wolf in the corner. "Come on, Leah-san. Let us get you something to wear. Roxy-chan's clothes should fit you." I stood and led her upstairs.

I came back down a few minutes later to await Roxy's inevitable arrival. 'Oh, Roxy-chan is really going to let me have it this time.' Edward glanced at me then returned his attention to Renesmee.

After a grueling wait, I finally smelled Roxy approaching the house along with some other company. "Michael-kun, run down to the store for me… I need you to get me some Italian entrees from Los Angeles. Do you think you could do that for Seth-kun and Roxy-chan?" I looked pointedly at the boy when I said "Italian." He looked curiously at me for a moment then I could almost hear it click in his head.

He nodded quickly then grabbed my wallet and bolted out the backdoor just as Roxy threw open the front door. Leah had gone home (probably to tell her mother what Seth and I were up to) and the Cullens had gone home upon request (I did not want them to face the wrath of Roxy). I sat closer to Seth on the couch, making sure my stomach was visible to her. I had had to extend it four centimeters since I had called her.

Roxy ran into the living room and caught sight of the slight bulge of my belly. The room was dead silent for a moment before her ear-splitting screech ripped through the air.

"YOU DUMBASS VAMPIRE! WHAT DID I KEEP TELLING YOU!? FUCKIN' USE PROTECTION! SO WHAT DO YOU GO AND DO!? YOU IGNORE MY GODDAMN VOICE OF REASON AND NOT USE IT ANYWAY! YOU LITTLE SHITHEAD, I OUGHTA THROTTLE YA! USE SOME COMMON SENSE, FUCK-TARD!" She yelled, flailing her arms.

"Hai, hai, because everyone here knew vampires could get pregnant, how could I forget? Dear how silly of me, I should have remembered that it has happened oh-so-many times before." I kept my voice even, resisting the urge to yell back at her.

Roxy shrieked again, "HOW THE HELL DID THIS FUCKIN' HAPPEN! YOU DUMBASS FEMALE LEECHES ARE SUPPOSED TO BE FUCKIN' INFERTILE! GRAHH!!" Roxy was literally at the point of combustion with her frustration at me.

"Um, well, she turned into a human when we ..."

"YOU FUCKED THE BITCH WHILE SHE WAS HUMAN?! ARE YOU FUCKIN' RETARDED!!!! OF COURSE THE BITCH GOT GODDAMN PREGNANT!! ALL MORE REASON TO USE PROTECTION!! JESUS FUCKING CHRIST YOU ARE RETARDED!!!"

"Well, Roxy-chan, you are about 4000 years to late to be acting as my mother so if you would kindly shut your face, I… would…" I stopped talking as Aro, Caius, and Marcus glided into the room.

Aro positively beamed at me. "Kyuu-san! It's been a year since we saw you last! It seems you're doing well!"

I scowled. 'Why, Roxy-chan, why!?' I demanded mentally. "Yes it has, has it not? I believe last time, we made it quite a bit longer between visits." I glared at Roxy. "Why in the world are they here?" I sighed. I truly did not mind the fact that she had brought Marcus now that I knew how… powerful imprinting was, but did she have to bring the other two?

Roxy's anger towards me dissipated a bit, replacing itself with frustration towards the Volturi. "That's kinda your fault. You knew they could hear our conversation because of the goddamn speakerphone, but you just blurted it out anyway. What the hell did you think was gonna happen when Giggles heard that? I tried to tell them no, but Giggles insisted…" She stared at my stomach again and threw her arms up in the air with an exasperated sigh. "I still can't believe what idiots you are… Stupid fuckers." She collapsed on the couch next to me and swatted my head lazily.

I sighed as Caius stepped forward. "As much as I hate to admit it, Aro, I must say I have to… agree with Roxy… Kyuu-san was being quite stupid and this child she bears could be quite danger--"

"Shut up, Cauis." Aro and I said together. I sighed again when Aro laughed and smiled at me.

I felt Seth wrap his arm protectively around my shoulder and I glanced over at him. He looked very tired and then I remembered. 'Kuso, werewolves need to actually sleep and it has been a long day all around…' I glanced over at Roxy to see how she was holding up. She seemed a little tired, but nothing she could not fight through. 'Let me see if I can at least get Aro and Caius back home; I will let Roxy-chan have sometime alone with Marcus… And maybe I can clear something up for him…'

I pat Seth's knee lovingly then used it to help push myself. I walked calmly over to Aro and Caius, glaring sharply the few steps it took. "I do not know what exactly you guys came here to do, but, if Caius over here is any indication, you are here to, once again, ruin my happiness." I placed a hand delicately over my stomach.

"What are you talking about, Kyuu-san?" Caius demanded. Aro shot him a look and the onion-scented vampire sank back slightly.

"What Caius means, Kyuu-san, is we've always had your happiness in mind; nothing we have ever done has been with any ill-intent towards you." Aro tried to explain.

"Ah, so ignoring what vampires were actually made to drink and drinking the blood of man has nothing to do with me? I regret biting you, Aro, truly I do. If only I had… been stronger… I would be the only freak walking this Earth…" I lifted my head as it started to hang with shame. "I know how you are, Aro. You are the kind of person who would destroy the people closest to him to gain power."

"Kyuu-san, I would never--"

"Oh, is that so? Tell me, then, how is your sister Didyme doing lately? I have not heard from her in a very long time." A spark of life returned to Marcus' eyes at the sound of his dead mate's name. I truly did not want to do this now. I wanted to wait until I had Marcus alone, but if Aro was going to push me, Hell if I was not going to push back.

"Didyme died in battle centuries ago, Kyuu-san; it's no wonder you haven't heard from her…" Aro started, looking slightly nervous.

"Oh, that is right. How silly of me to forget. What were you two fighting about? I cannot seem to remember…"

"Kyuu-san…" There was a warning deep in Aro's voice. I felt Marcus and Roxy shift slightly closer to me at the same time.

"Oops, was that supposed to be a secret…?" I raised my eyebrows in mock surprise. "OH! Now I remember! Silly me… You killed Didyme to" I looked over at Marcus, eyes slightly wider with more mock surprise. "keep Marcus by your side."

All three Volturi dropped their jaws, each for a different reason. I could almost hear something in Marcus' head shatter as realization caused Chelsea's hold over him to break.

"You…" He growled, glaring at Aro. Before something awful happened while I was in this vulnerable state, I stood between the three hissing vampire, my back to Marcus, and snarled loud enough to make all three stop.

"Urusei, all of you!" I hissed. Everyone in the room froze. Satisfied with the level of fear in the room, I continued. "You two," I nodded to Aro and Caius. "Go home now before I help Marcus rip you both limb-from-limb." I heard Caius mutter, "What the hell did I do?" I silenced him with a new glare. "Go."

"Not without Marcus." Aro took a step forward.

"Go!" I said, a bit more forceful.

"But Kyuu-san--" He tried again.

"GO!" I shrieked, morphing my body into something truly frightening. My hair grew longer and the whites of my eyes turned black and my irises turned red. My skin turned pale blue and my arms now had a webbing of skin connecting them to my torso, giving the appearance of wings. Long talons grew out of my fingers and toes and my pointed ears grew slightly longer. I bared my now longer fangs as I screamed, sending both shock and fear into the two opposing vampires. 'My true form…' I thought. 'Never thought it would be of any use. Thank Kami-sama for giving me a transforming ability that works automatically to hide what an… ugly creature I am…'

Aro and Caius stared for another moment, looked at Marcus, then disappeared from the house. I morphed back and felt Marcus' hand on my shoulder.

I heard Roxy's timid voice float over from the couch. "M-Markie…?"
