This is a fun picture I painted as part of a set of fantasy themed birthday cards.Dedicated here with a big birthday hug to my son Leo, who celebrated his 2nd birthday a few days ago!

I just happened to see this on the new submissions at the home page, so I thought I would take a closer look. I love anything that has to do with dragons. This is a very cute picture. I love how incredibly detailed it is. I love the photo realistic quality as. So many lovely little,fine details to keep the eyes busy!

How is a two-year-old like a dragon? While I've got no kids of my own as of yet, my experience with those of my friends has taught me that the terrible twos are, in fact, very similar to a rampaging dragon; there will be much screaming, destruction left in its wake and only when it's sleeping will you actually remember that it can actually be rather cute.
