I think I have a friend who drew some 'Raptors standing upright in clothing,' but they were perhaps more on the humanoid side than I was thinking.
Maybe someday I will. Maybe someday I will.

Furry just means anthropomorphic. I think it would have been pretty cool to see you draw an anthro dino in this. I just hate when people ALWAYS think "furry" is sexual. It's a big pet peeve of mine since I'm a furry. Furry= Fans of anthropomorphic animals or animals with human like emotions and tenancies. You just get some of those people that sexualize it and then suddenly EVERYONE thinks furry means something sexual or a fetish.

Ceratopsians are exclusive herbivores. They never ate meat, and their digestive systems can't handle it anyway. I know this because there are ceratopsians in my staff.

KillerMoa In reply to The-Nerdinator [2015-10-05 16:02:19 +0000 UTC]
Actually, there is evidence to suggest that at least some ceratopsians were omnivorous. Not to mention many kinds of deer, rodents, suids, and bovines have been known to eat meat on occasion.

No, I did ask the ceratopsians in my staff. They can't digest meat without getting diarrhea. Except bugs, for some reason.

1: You're not a dinosaur. Stop it. You're not fooling anyone. You may be playing pretend, but I'm not.
2: Meat does not cause herbivorous animals wittle bitty tummy aches. Very few animals are completely 100% herbivorous or carnivorous. As I mentioned before, many kinds of "plant-eaters" occasionally feed on meat without ill effects.
3: Out of all the "plant-eating dinosaurs", ceratopsians were the most likely to be omnivorous. If you want to know why go here:

First off, I am a dinosaur. Parallel universes and stuff. Complicated beyond what my sauropod brain can handle.
Herbivorous mammals can eat meat, maybe. But the only completely herbivorous archosaurs you know of are hoatzins, and scientists aren't doing studies on them and meat. All mammals evolved from an omnivorous common ancestor, thus the ability to stomach the protein content of flesh. Archosaur biology is very different, and a non-avian dinosaur's digestive system is something you have no examples for.
Also, there is no palaeontological evidence of ceratopsian omnivory. If there was, there would be bone fragments preserved in their stomach contents, and other fossilized herbivores would have bite marks that match up with a ceratopsian's beak.
Speaking of the beak, there is a reason ceratopsians have strong jaw muscles and sharp teeth: they need to chew highly fibrous plants. Sauropods originally held that niche (they don't chew, instead stripping the leaves off plants and swallowing them whole), but by the late Cretaceous they were in decline. Ceratopsians were able to evolve much greater sizes without sauropods to compete with them.
There are ceratopsian fossils that preserve the remains of fossilized, woody plants. No bones. No animal flesh (and the ceratopsian's own doesn't count).
And why only ceratopsians? Why not omnivorous thyreophorans or ornithopods? Heck, why not sauropods, because they have the closest relationship with theropods? Why must you single someone out just because of their appearance?
That deviant is not a palaeontologist. Many palaeontologists also get things wrong (Deinonychus as a large species of Velociraptor, anyone?).
So yeah, don't pounce on someone because they disagree with you. I do not want a flame war, but try to do some research before you submit hateful comments.
