Description Beautiful. The stars shone bright, the sun glowed orange underneath them and the bridge's magic was around them, if nothing else it was terrifyingly
awe inspiringly beautiful. It was unlike anything Robyn would have expected to encounter on this trip but she, like everyone else just had to trust the
Queen knew what she was doing, that the portal was ahead, and so far none of the things that had happened pointed to events occuring other wise, the
earthquake had been the first sign that Robyn had watched with her own eyes. It proved the land, it was dying and the magic was fading. All she
could do was keep riding Petri, as the group moved slowly accross the unnervingly high bridge.

One thing she knew for certain, after all this was over she definitely still wouldn't like heights but a ladder or the top of a roof was pretty
non threatening after being who knew how far away from the ground they were.
The magic in the bridge behind them was faint, but the magic coming from whatever was ahead felt almost like it was pulling them forward, like it
was calling to them. Once or twice she could have sworn she heard something but with everyone and their horses around making various jingles and clips
and whinnies maybe it had just been her imagination. Maybe the growing silence before she slept, the strange quietness of the horses and people,
no chatter, no whinnies, had made her start hearing things.

At least nerves weren't as high as they could be, people had been managing to sleep, at first people were wary to sleep on the bridge, afraid it would
disappear or they would roll off, some people slept tied to their horses, she though had been tired of riding, of feeling the saddle underneath of
her butt and her thighs ached with the days of riding. She had curled up next to Petri, trusting the mare to keep her safe and letting her heavy
eyelids close for a short, but blissful sleep.

The next day, maybe it was evening, it was hard to tell time anymore with the sun below them and not above them, a strange mist started coming over the bridge. An electric tingle went through her and Petri reared her white legs and pale hooves windmilling as the mare's nostrils grew wider and her teeth were bared, her black ears pinned to her head. Lightning crackled, snapping through the dark clouds, she heard horse's whinnying, weapons being drawn and then she saw them. Dragons. Fear enveloped her, freezing her to the bone. Then Petri reared again and the leather saddle creaked beneath her, Petri's shoulders bulging and Robyn tumbled to the ground managing not to roll away. The mare bucked, her eyes wild snapping at the saddle and Robyn rushed to the mare fingers fumbling with the buckles as she cast the saddle away.

Petri reared and screamed, and wings seemed to sprout from her shoulders in fast motion, feathers reaching out wide and the mare snorted, as if to say "Well you getting on or what?"

Robyn nodded and boosted herself up, "Let's go get us a dragon girl."
