Description: Kotan joined the Pack of Dark Stones at a young age, from where he was mentored by Brighten. He gained his Rank as a Sentry and is was well-liked by the Pack. After Brighten's passing, however, Kotan ended up being unexpectedly promoted to being the next Second. Part of this was nepotism on Dreven's part, with Kotan reminding him of his old friend Brighten. The Pack initially protested Kotan's promotion at such a young age, but Kotan soon proved to be a perfect fit for the Second role, oftentimes being even a better Leader than Dreven himself.
Physical description: Kotan is a large, muscular reddish-brown wolf with a cream muzzle, chest, stomach and paws. He has darker red ears and a darker red tail, and his eyes are pale green. He is considered handsome and is the third-largest wolf in the Pack of Dark Stones while he was Second, being only shorter than Snow-white and Onor.

Kotan is a really chill dude. He's very young (about 1.5 years in the early chapters), but already given a ton of responsibility when he's appointed Second of the Pack of Dark Stones. Kotan is also seen as handsome by most wolves, being rather large and bulky. He's the third-biggest wolf in the Pack, being only smaller than Onor and Snow-white. Garth from Alpha and Omega was a big inspiration for Kotan. He's actually named after an NPC from the game The Dog Island, however.
