this is so completely beyond anything i could even begin to do i don't know how to critique it. I spent a long time trying to figure out the surprize. thought at first you were referring to the dev art screen, than thought that was too obvious, maybe perhaps the photo of the woman who looks a whole lot to me like a young Barbara Striesand, excuse the spelling. no, not that. then i got it, i think.....I'm gonna send a note so as not to ruin it for anyone else. gert work, too cool.

Well, I must admit, it's difficult to add 2D and 3D objects in one scene. But looking at the entire image I'd say it has no depth, and for me personally, it doesn't tell a story, just looks a little chaotic. Sorry.......but that's my impression........

Surprise indeed! And the sad thing is, I looked at this for like half an hour before I actually got it!
I'm intrigued by, and love a lot of things about this piece. It would take too much detail to explain, and would become a story in itself.
One thing about the perspective - it seems like the floor should be visible from the angle we're looking, although I don't know that it really matters.

MMMM third looks at the full size again... this one intrigates me....
staring at it like for 2 miutes... wathinc it carefully.... to mark more precisely the points:
1) wall.... although it has awesome stuff on it It needs something itself.
2) shadings look well when focusing on areas, but somehow they don't fit too well
3) the lasdy should have been rendered or photoshop inner lighted with 10-15 % opacity.... hard light black... from the edges
4) chair looks odd.
Well this to show I do really pay attention... That I am not In a need to say "unfitting"

and I must say this is the most articficially composed stage I've seen.
Unfitting components... almost as It was on purpose.
BUt It has A very interesting COmponent: the table and it's monitor... now that is cool.

Ok now for the constructive part, the tower could have been made a little cleaner, and the mouse/mousewire too. Other than that, you pulled of what many 3d artists can't do, successfully work in intricate 2d that totally help make the pic, but congratz, you did it!
