phew... this background was a toughie
i'm not looking forward to coloring the dragon... but it'll look cool as hell! it'll have water coming out of it's mouth and into the sluice. still debating to color or soft-cel shade.

Very contemplative look. I'd have to agree with most people that this does look good thus far. My only advice would be to work out the arm that's falling on his knee a little more. The foreshortening and the way his hand sits looks a little odd for now. Perhaps color will help that along. I'm looking forward to seeing what you do next.
