This is my completed work to submit to Zekilove's valentine's competition! I hope you guys like it!

The competition is to show Zero and Yuki at Valentines Day.
In this sketch, what I really wanted to capture were Zero and Yuki's expressions. I wanted Zero's face to be serene and sure (two emotions that Zero NEVER feels) as he asks Yuki to stay with him for the rest of their lives.
I wanted Yuki's face to be shocked but more happy/tearful- something that showed a bit of their long wait/fight to be together.

I chose to draw them in this pose, because it's one of my favorite "poses"- hug from behind. There is something protective and gentle about that embrace. I love it because there is something very endearing about it, like the couple is in their own world. I also made the decision not to draw the rest of their bodies besides their hands because I didn't want to detract from their expressions with the lines of clothes or background etc.

This picture is really about freezing a moment when two starcrossed lovers finally get to be together.

You're super encouraging and I'm 100% sure I would have stopped doodling on DA already because of my short attention span to everything if you didn't keep coming back to fave. lol.
