Now this is something I'm SUPER pumped about. Star Wars was such an inspiration to me as a kid and I remember thinking time and time again "I wish I could do Star Wars art!". Well, whaddaya know. I get to do Star Wars art! Fantasy Flight Games is releasing their new Star Wars living card game soon and a couple of my cards were spoiled at the previews at GenCon. The first card I did for the game was none other than Darth Vader. I'm really humbled that my art director felt comfortable enough giving me the task to create art for the most badass sci-fi villain of all time. Rarely do we get to see Vader dealing with rebel scum in such a direct way, so I'm sure you can imagine how giddy I was when I got the initial prompt.Image ยฉLucasfilm, LTD and Fantasy Flight Games

Damn man you have reached epic awesomeness levels with this one, god I grew up on these films and you did such a good job with this one. I love the composition, colors and action all nicely bringing that badass villian to life. Congrats on getting this one, and Bravo on a serious job well done

this piece reminds me that even things I've seen over and over again, like star wars fan art, can be completely renewed and can respark my interest in such subjects by one unique, amazing piece of art. This is that piece of art for me. So thank you. Awesome work.

Fantastic work! The scene, the action, the power, and the darkness are all perfect. The trust that was given to you in this task was very well placed. While this scene alone does not fully convey everything that Vader represents, it shows one side of him with incredible clarity. He is one of the most skilled fictional warriors ever, and a force to be feared.

If they remake ANH, this would be the best way to do it, with Vader KICKING ASS ! (Just for the love of God no JarJar like Charactors)

I'm not saying I want one, don't get me wrong, I'm a true fan and a 501st member, so I really don't want a remake of the Original Trilogy either. (So, with all kindness, BACK OFF)
