Description
Couple of the better known fauna from the Ischigualasto formation, often regarded as the birth place of dinosaurs.Left to Right
Ischigualastia jenseni
Prestosuchus chiniquensis
The two large theropods are both Herrerasaurus ischigualastensis
The smaller individual is the holotype juvenile which is the most commonly depicted form of Herrera while the larger individual is the adult which is known from a few bits of fossil including a partial skull (see reference images bellow)
and waaaaaaaay at the bottom there
