Bedroom inside an abandoned farmhouse with a taxidermied squirrel on the dresser!!

Edit: Some new information has come to my attention since first posting this location.  Some time ago, the Canadian government was giving out land presumably to help populate more remote areas of the province and to encourage farming in these areas.  I was able to find something called the Dominion Lands Act which was a law established in 1872 to do just this, the only problem is that this lands act was only applied to the prairies and Western Canada.  I would imagine that Ontario had such a program as well at some point, possibly before it had begun in the prairies.  The family that owns the home and land that it currently sits on benefitted from this program and started their farm on the property.  Someone else had mentioned that the original cabin (the small wooden building attached to the back of the home was built around the 1850s or 1860s which falls very close to the timeline dealing with the lands act.  He also mentioned that the larger two story home at the front was likely built in the early 1900s.
The home and property is still owned by the same family, the son who now owns it was moved into an old age home and is currently 91 years old.  The future of the land, the home and the remaining buildings remains up in the air.

As I had mentioned in previous posts, some of the items have gone missing over the last few years.  The person who told me this information says that the neighbours had caught people stealing antiques from the home and that because of that they now watch the property very closely!!  This could also explain the tractor and the Buick being left there, apparently, they were placed there so as to make the property more lived in.

Thanks to the guy on Facebook as well as the person from Reddit for the info about the age of the home(s)!!

Here we have a very old and long abandoned farmhouse with everything left behind.  I did not have enough time to do much digging around in the drawers and the piles of stuff unfortunately because there was just so much of it.  But some of the things that stood out during my explore, were a stuffed squirrel, old family photos, an antique radio a very old antique washing machine, a wedding dress and of course lots of retro furniture!!  It seems as though someone's entire life was left behind at this abandoned house.  Given some of the dates I found inside this house on calendars and mail left behind, I would imagine that this home has been abandoned for at least 15 years if not longer.  Being a farmhouse, the property that this abandoned home sits on was very large with numerous outbuildings, including a couple of sheds and a large barn.  There was also farm machinery including a tractor and a combine sitting out amongst the overgrown property.  Further back as I ventured towards the barn, there was an old 1990s Buick LeSabre half submerged in the tall grass, a really cool and unusual find!

Despite finding numerous pieces of mail amongst the clutter, I was unable to locate who the owner was or why the property was left as it is.  There are many possible reasons why this home and property have been left for so long but at this point we can only speculate.  Since two other explorers visited this location about three years ago, many items have gone missing, including framed family photos, an antique crank telephone along with numerous other items.  Despite this, the property was still a thoroughly enjoyable location to explore and I am lucky to have been able to see it!!

What do you guys think of all the items that were left behind, are they interesting or boring to you?  Let me know down in the comments!!
