I love the texture of water in long exposure shots. What ISO speed did you use? Did you use an ND filter?
Beautiful colours, very tranquil.

Thank you. I think I was shooting at 100 ISO I usually do to minimize the amount of noise in the image. I used two graduated ND filters to extent the exposure legth of the image while also keeping the sky properly exposed.

When I used two graduated ND filters together they create an unatural colour cast to the image which sometimes works, thank you.

This is brilliant! The water and lighting looks so perfect, so vibrant! This wasn't by computer manipulation, is it?

What I like most in the photograph is the variety of the colours that exists. From purple to red and from blue to orange.
The composiotion is rather simple, which makes the subject better and more easy for the eye to get attracted to.
What I would suggest is that you could leave the shutter a little bit more opened, like a long exposure. I think it would add a feeling of tranquility and calmness. In addition to that it would cover some unsharp spots like the rock underwater.
All in all, I believe it is a great composed image which deserved its DD

Thank you for your comments and I did use an exposure of about 15-30 seconds for the image and the water wouldn't really get any smoother with a longer shutter speed.
