Professionals who have acquired an education, guild memebers, local elected officials, low-ranking military officers or businesspeople who have been successul, make up most of ¨the Notables¨. These people represent a dynamic and prosperous stratus that looks forward to the future, searching for new opportunities . They do not enjoy entitlements from the Third Empire, and became prosperous or learned on their own. Many of them wish to obtain a Dispensation to become ¨highborns¨ but there is an increasing number of them who wish to abolish the system altogether (see ¨Horizontalism, pag. 34).

Unlike the Disprivileged, they can own properties and land with the ability of renting or loaning them out. They also have access to the banking system. All of this grants them a liberty of movement and enterprise higher than other strata.

Profesionales instruidos, miembros de gremios, cargos electos locales, militares de bajo rango o empresarios de éxito constituyen la mayoría de los "Notables". Estas personas representan un estrato dinámico y próspero que mira al futuro en busca de nuevas oportunidades. No disfrutan de los privilegios del Tercer Imperio y se han hecho prósperos o cultos por su cuenta.
