Description
A speed painting that came about by accident as I was practicing, in between work. It's a picture of what appears to be a power plant, spilling out toxic waste. This image is a personal project, so doesn't belong to anyone else, i.e. a client. To buy the full license for this image would cost £60 ($100).
Painted entirely in Photoshop CS5.

Cheers ff11 - this one took about 6 hours. However, speed paintings can be anything from 5 mins to a day. So, not this isn't actually HIGH speed, but it's not as long as a week, like a highly refined painting with perfect perspective etc.

Okay, thxs! Most speed paintings I've seen took approx 5-15 mins, so I was wondering, cause your painting didn't look like there was any possible way that it could've been done in that amount of time!
Anyways, it looks amazing! I really like the idea

I actually thought that speed paintings were supposed to be done in a few minutes, as you said. But, I was informed that anything under a day is considered a speed painting...apparently. However, the difference between 5 mins and a day is huge, so the word 'speed paint' is quite deceiving.
