Again this piece was brilliant fun to make, I tried to come up with something a bit different. Originally I made it as a portrait abstract but I got so many requests for a desktop wallpaper I changed it to landscape. Commentβs and

I'd probably have given that a favorite even if I'd seen it before seeing this thread.

Wow...it's violet colored...this is my favorite of your works so far. I love spacy looking things. I think a violet looking star would look better in the middle though..just my opinion. I loved it so much that i switched my desktop bg to this (i RARELY change my desktops)

Oh man, you've got a lot to learn.
First of all, having three duplicates of the same motive really destroys the picture since it's obvious you've just done ctrl+c ctrl+v, also, the two duplicates steal attention from the one thing that it's obvious we (the public) is supposed to focus on.
Secondly, when brushing an abstract you MUST brush on top of the render as well, otherwise it'll just look as if you pasted the render onto the image and it'll also make the background look increadibly flat.
Nice colours anyway.

Thanks for the C & C. I usually brush over the render but i didn't feel it fitted with this one. I will keep experimenting though

Again, I ma just amazed at the details you've included!! This is a really gorgeous piece...the colors are beautiful: I especially love that purple! The design itself is great as well: those swoops of purple are great. I also especially like all of the small bits you see in the fullview...my favorite is the whispy lights you see around each main piece, and how they sort of mingle on the page. Just really REALLY beautiful work!

The background is nice and the colours are great, but I do not totally like this image.
In this picture, the shape of the planets do not blend as well into the background, and the texture on them seems a little stretched.
It's fairly good, but I feel it could be improved.
