What would happen if during the Royal Wedding, Shining Armor and Cadence FAILED to defeat Queen Chrysalis with their spell?What if after the Queen "dealt" with Shining Armor and Cadence, she manages to manipulate and convert the Mane 6 over to her side, and uses them to win the changling's battle for Equestria?
What would happen if the influence of the Changling's desire and hunger for love, began to...change...the Mane 6 over the many years that passed since the changlings took over Equestria under the rule of Queen Chrysalis?
What if the Elements of Harmony then became the...Elements of Deception?

I have NO idea what the story is (with wedding and what not) but that looks awsome.

I have a thing for evil beings. So to see heroes change to evil because of something happening, makes you feel bad for them or hate them more for falling for it (it depends on the situation, and well what was used against them)
So while most fans say this can't be canon (I mean no shit, its not, its just an fan made idea, get over it) I can see this happening in an Alternate Universe not just as a fan fic but in general idea. Equestria isn't the entire planet of ponies... its just a country. So while food source could be sucked out from the country, they can and will invade others for more.
But... take into account (if anyone has played Tales of Symphonia think Human Ranches in there) that the Changlings made pony ranches, where they store and 'breed' their captured food sources so that there will be a large supply of it to keep them going?
But like I said, any one can make an idea just for wondering the alternative of a major event. 
It's fun to play around with dark side of things.

I chose Rainbow as the element of Apathy because its basically indifference or lack of concern, which is the best counter to Loyalty I could think of. I chose AJ as treachery because in my opinion she is more than an honest pony and I think treachery is the perfect opposite to not only her element but to all of her best qualities. Dysphoria is depression, sadness, anxiety, and lots of other icky stuff that are much different than that of what would make somebody laugh.

1) Everypony in Canterlot would be screwed. Cadance and Shining's energy would have likely been drained by that cop-out conflict resolution. The royal guards are useless, and Luna is presumably weaker than Celestia.
2) The takeover would happen faster. Some of the citizens of Equestria would have to recognize the bearers of the Elements. Chrysalis would only need Rainbow and Twilight, though. Absurd magical power+Sonic Rainboom atomic explosions=destroy everything.
3) This wouldn't happen. Either the enslaved ponies would die out (draining out love weakens a pony, as seen with Shining), or they would become changlings themselves (if that can actually happen, never established as canon). Regardless, the changlings would inevitably run out of a food source. They would then die out. That's the problem with being a parasite. Without a constant food source, a parasite cannot live for very long.
4) The "Elements of Deception" sounds like an amazing Alternate-Universe fanfic just waiting to be written. Get on it, writers.
As for the wallpaper, this is definitely one of your best ones yet (if I may say so myself). The general darkness compliments the Changling's ability of deception very well. Even better: the glowing eyes amplify the sinister feeling of their appearance. None of them cover up each other, either. They all have a natural position, and they all stand out.
Needless to say, very, very well done.
