Introducing my newest girl in my Pirates series - "Bootstrap Betsy!" I love her colourful parrot friend bringing her strands of pearls! Actually, I love everything in this painting, from her classic tattoos - to the blue land crab approaching the half-buried skeleton - to the tropical sea - the palm trees reflecting in her eyes - the distant ship on the horizon - pretty cool! the painting is beautiful, and the colors are outstanding, as always. i don't really like how you hav her hair covering her neck though. regardless, the details on the tatoos are lovely.
