Done for Magic:The Gathering, Avacyn Restored expansion set.Had a lot of fun with this one, dark atmosphere is a favorite artistic passtime.

An amazing concept for the card design. I like how you use the green color around the dark shade. Esepcailly how it just drools down his center.

One question about the drawing: Is the vomit/slime trail down its front just covering the flesh? or is it like bursting out from within everywhere?

It's oozing out from inside, and down the front of his clothing. So yes to both. He's filled with toxic slime. Cause it's gross. And it causes pollution.

Cool. I know that usually (or it just seems that way for the card art they show on magic arcana articles) that wizards usually gives you some set criteria for each card drawn: as in the focus, mood, perhaps setting or something that is supposed to stand out. I like how you got the message that the zombie creates pestilence wherever it goes across. I am always excited to see art from you on magic cards, and am always eager to see more.

Thanks! I was trying to be more restrained with the colors on this set, since it is a gothic horror world, bright happy colors seemed totally out of place...But the green goo just had to stand out, so I went a little overboard to make it look radioactive
