Description
Decided to go back to a pop art approach to this one and also make it monochromatic. This isn't anyone in particular--although it didn't start off that way--but I found a picture of a man looking down on himself that struck me strangely. I decided to give that pose a go but have a more introspective look on his face and less "damn I look good."
I did not set out to make it a pop art piece at first, but the original idea wasn't working to my satisfaction, so I scrapped what I had in mind and decided to do this instead. Wasn't completely sold on the checkerboard at first either, but once I put the fading silhouettes on it, I liked it a LOT more.

This has turned out to be one of my favorite pieces of all time, and so I decided to go back and remaster it. It's been remastered and renewed using newer versions of Illustrator and Photoshop, and is available as a digital print in my new Patreon shop! It's also available as a digital download here for an updated price!
