****SPOILERS FOR THE NEW EQUESTRIA GIRLS SPECIAL*****

After a week or so hiatus from comic making, what better way to celebrate than with Jasper and Harmony reacting to the Equestria Girls special that NEEDED to happen?

Jasper's actual thoughts: ...THIS NEEDED TO HAPPEN!!!! No doubt the highlight of the special was Sunset returning to Equestria, finally getting closure with Celestia, and being cute with Princess Twilight... and said book horse being book nerd . I felt so bad for Sunset during this whole ordeal (The part where she sacrificed her memories was heartbreaking and... kinda hard to watch ). While I'm not happy with Wallflower's actions... I can kinda understand why she did it - it's one thing to not be mean to someone... but you also need to be nice to them and remind them that they exist and they matter (I'm surprised that TRIXIE of all people delivered this moral. She was alright when she and Sunny started to get along, but I STILL feel as though it'd be better if her mouth was sewed shut >.<). Also, something interesting - three of the EQG series' major antagonists (Sunset, Adagio, and Wallflower) have all been voiced by the series' featured singers (Rebecca, Kazumi, and Shannon) ...coincidence? ILLUMINATI!??! MAYBE!!!

's actual thoughts: I loved it overall. Sunset was perfect as usual. As much as I despise Trixie, I'll admit she was okay in this one and her teaming up with Sunset was pretty awesome. I'm not really too sure how to feel about Wallflower Blush she just seemed underwhelming. And the feels oh my god THE FEELS!!! finally getting Sunset and Celestia's reunion was perfect and Princess Twi and Sunny interacting again was just beautiful!
