Capcom just uses Nintendo consoles as a dumping ground for spinoff titles in order to test the waters for their actual big-budget releases (which never see the light of day on Nintendo systems). I don't regard all these Resident Evil spinoffs to be real iterations in the series, they're just quick cash-ins to tide over the ignorant Nintendo fanboys who either refuse to buy or are unable to afford other systems. For those that can't afford the new systems, I pity them greatly. For those that actively choose to make Nintendo their only system, I feel disgusted towards.

I don't deny the edge the other competitors have (which this Gen is either speed (360) or graphics (PS3)). But I will always deny that Nintendo is a 'dumping ground'. And you REALLY should not pity those who don't want to be. As much as I could have gone for the other two, I picked the Wii because it's not as expensive, and is, to me, more fun, despite having played a huge variety of games on the other consoles (thanks to having friends who own the other two).
Yes, the other companies can whimper about having better graphics and better speed, and now supposedly better motion controls (which to me, they still don't have), but I still enjoy the Wii more.

Motion controls are an absolute crap shoot. They will always be garbage no matter what system they're on because, until they offer actual feedback, they will do nothing but ruin the immersion and intuitiveness of games. The object of controls should be to minimize the amount of time between a player's action and the in-game reaction. Buttons minimize this by making a tiny movement equate to an action whereas motion controls ruin this by making large movements the norm in addition to any input lag the device suffers and the amount of time it takes to register that action by the player is staggering.
Also I am sick of Wii owners always pulling out the trump card that "gameplay is more important than graphics". True though this may be, you commonly misconstrue the arguments for the other systems being better as always being an argument about graphics and horsepower. There is NO ONE in the entire game industry who believes that graphics take precedence over gameplay. No developer or gamer EVER in all of gaming's history has believed this. This is just a crutch argument devised by Nintendo fans to pull out as a catch-all defense whenever it's pointed out that Nintendo is far too cheap and lazy to actually provide the convenience of MODERN technology to their audience and merely desire the most profit for minimal effort. Nintendo always gets a free pass from its fanbase due to rose-tinted nostalgia of their better days and I don't feel this is proper at all.
The Wii IS a dumping ground, whether you disagree with this fact or not is irrelevant because every third party developer in the game industry sees their console as too lacking in power and audience sophistication to be worth wasting their time on. Nintendo has been more or less a dumping ground since the N64, as every Nintendo console library since that generation has been greatly lacking in comparison to their competitors, but with the Wii they have hit absolute rock-bottom in this regard. Developers know that the primary audience for the Wii is grandmas and soccer moms; non-gamers who are unfamiliar with recognized brands and will buy any old garbage for the sheer novelty of it. This is why the internet is saturated with people complaining of their Wiis gathering dust, how their parents merely bought Wiis for the sake of "that neat little sports game" and left it to die once the novelty wore off. Those that DO call themselves hobbyist gamers and still cling to the Wii do so out of nostalgic sentiment and nothing else. They are ignorant of the advances made by the game industry as a whole and refuse to believe that anything is better than Nintendo-branded games simply because they're Nintendo. Metacritic scores show that the other systems have the highest volume of quality content so any claims that the Wii is the better system is demonstrably false. This leads into another problem with Nintendo fans, that they are phasing themselves out of gaming in general because there is "nothing that interests them", failing to realize that it's the fault of the Wii and its lack of quality games that plants this seed in their minds.
I don't think Nintendo has released quality games in forever. Mario Galaxy 2 and that's it. The majority of their games all lacked substance. Brawl is a brainless fighter that offers no competition and rewards luck instead of skill. Mario Kart is equally luck-based in addition to being slow-paced, ugly and having poor controls and track design. Metroid: Other M was a bastardization of the series that completely ruined Samus's character. And Zelda, Nintendo's crown jewel, has become utterly and completely formulaic and predictable in its pacing and structure; it does NOTHING to change up the series and merely sticks to the stale OoT template of going through element-themed dungeons, placing focus on meticulous block-pushing puzzles and fetch quests that force the player to wade through hours of boring content interspersed with a few memorable parts. Nintendo is not innovating in any meaningful way and have not done so since the release of Ocarina of Time. They are completely out of place in this current generation and the fact that they don't follow modern production standards is inexcusable. Although their fans will make up the excuse that they're "taking games back to simpler times" this is just more fluffing on their part to cover up the fact that Nintendo doesn't want to spend money to change their habits or create truly innovative games anymore, in much the same way a soccer mom doesn't want to spend much money on video games for their child so they go with the cheapest available option. They'll keep producing this antiquated schlock and their fans will eat it up out of ignorance.
