Description
An image created for use as a cover for Ronzo of my take of his 2 characters in association with Angry Viking Press, the publication company I will be doing work with.Shred the wolf is a bit of a fighter who loves to drink, and Squeek the mouse is a ditz who can't help but get into trouble. They may not seem to be a likely pair, but Shred has a soft spot for protecting her.
Be on a look out for further work to be done with Angry Viking Press. More info on that later on.
Pencil and ink on typing paper, coloured in Painter IX within the appropriated containment fields.
cheers~

Ooh, the fur and colors are great! They seem like great characters, too. But Shred's nose looks a bit off to me. Like it's a tad crooked. But that probably just me.

Awesome furry drawing you got there, man. Come to think of it, that mouse Squeek looks like this character Gadget from the Chip 'N' Dale Rescue Rangers series and the wolf character Shred looks like one of the fighters from the Bloody Roar video game series. Overall, great piece. I have a question just out of curiosity. How long have you worked as a comic artist for the Sonic series in Archie comics?

every time I think I've gotten my lines right, you go and post something.
So beautiful fur, great lines, everything as good as it ever is from you.
Background's a bit plain, but it does the job.

background doesn't needta be heavy on every image, sometimes it is good to give a vague idea and leave the focus on the figures. A little bit here ,a little bit there.
as far asl ines, i really like what you have been doing as of late, your bot images were nice~

I agree with what you're saying about the background. The fact that they're white buildings on that pale blue background ties them together just fine.
thanks by the way, about the robots.

At first glance I thought she was Gadget from "Rescue Rangers"
And the REALLY funny part is, when I was 5, I had a crappy little fancharacter for Rescue Rangers named "Squeeky" and she was Gadget's pet mouse... yes, a mouse with a PET mouse... God I was such a stupid kid back then.
Jay Axer?? Funny, I was just looking for your stuff the other day and I can't find it.... Whatever happened to your "Jay and Silent Bob VS Pikachu" comic?

The program Painter was created to be used by you. The hair on this pic is gorgeous. I bet your client will be etstatic. The thumb on Squeek's left hand looks like you drew it wrong but when I look at my own hand I can tell that you drew it correctly. That was a brave artistic decision.

I like this! Squeek is adorable. She's very mouse-like in posture and expression, I think.
The contrast of the two characters is also excellent.

This is good. However, I think the mouse girl would look better if she didn't have such huge breasts.

Hey, I remember you! Years back when I was just a prepubescent looking at Sonic fanart on various websites you had an account on one of them. I thought it was incredibly impressive and exciting to see you contract with Archie.
But now this independent work is exhilirating! Axer original comics would be sure buys for me, just allow me to proclaim.

Nor do they wear clothes, or ride on the backs of wolves, among other obvious thing while we are busy mentioning them.

Well actually, I used ctrl + v, so upon the point I posted that message, caps lock was neither stuck nor activated. So I'm sorry, but your absurd assumption is incorrect.

My parents died in a fatal caps lock incident, okay? Some guy was like "I'm going now", except his caps lock was stuck and it instead read "I"M GOING NOW". My parents interpreted it as a threat, and thinking that the guy was coming after us, they threw me into the car and started speeding off. They lost control of the car and smashed into a lamp post. They both died instantly, and I barely escaped. So please, don't remind me of caps lock. I don't even want to think about it.
