Two monsters created by the use of nuclear radiation, who throughout the years have brought about just as much good as they have destruction. Both of them have gone to hell and kicked the shit out of Satan, and both of them actually bring about life and nature to the places they go (in Planet Hulk it's literally a plot point that Hulks blood brought life to the planet, and the Kaiju's rampage cause life to flourish wherever they go, even more so if you consider Godzilla Earth.)

Both of them are constantly getting fucked over by the military, and both have to fight against a bunch of pretty comparable villains. Military-created clones of them (Abomination and Mecha Godzilla,) a monster similar/related to them who comes from space (Skaar and Space Godzilla,) pterodactyl-like monsters (Sauron and Rodan, although to be fair Sauron was a villain for Hulk in the animated series,) and a furry ape/ape-like monster (Wendigo and King Kong.)
