this is what cherries do with their corpses
Materials and Methods
Bing cherries; stems for the board, pits for the X, cherries for the O. Basement floor (natural texture...no textures were added in post editing...yes my basement floor is this ugly). 60 watt bulb for lighting. Only minor tone editing and sharpening in post.

Very lovely. Perhaps not the winner but the loser is happier in this case, as he ate all the cherries.
More than a photograph it looks like a poster or graphic art. A hard to obtain result with such minor edits
