The Slenderman mythos is most obviously a total fabrication.Not because of production values or anything like that, but purely because it's a well known fact that if Slenderman was real and was caught on camera (video or otherwise) he'd have given us atleast a little bit o' this.

My friend told me about the Slenderman and showed me that series of videos online and it was really dark outside and creepy. Until he told me it was fake. xD
