My second novel just went into print on Friday – WHITE POINTER - under my pen name, John Lee Schneider - and I think I can say, without the slightest hint of bias, that it is one of the greatest works of popular fiction ever sent to print – all my relatives loved it.
The illustrations above are the cover art – image on the right was my original cover idea – a photo shop job, with the obvious reverse-JAWS motif. The image on the left is what Severed Press came up with.
Honestly, I’m almost as excited about the cover as the book itself – this is the first time someone has done professional artwork based on my material (my previous novel EXTINCTION, I did my own cover art).
And the book itself was one of the fastest I ever wrote – largely based, as they say, on ‘true events’ – from the shark attacks to the dialogue itself, it’s close to reality – I hope people like it.
ALSO, anyone who likes sea monsters, sharks, aliens, dinosaurs, rampaging kaiju, has GOT to check out the Severed Press website – I’ve only been with them for a couple months, but their book selection is absolutely great.
