This is a portrait of one of my watchers
When I'm not doing fanart on DA or teaching small groups how to draw, this is what I do for a living, I paint people's portraits.
What I would like to do as a Thank You to all the people who watch me is to paint one of you for a Christmas present. The finished work will be sent to your email address with no watermark so you can print it and frame it...and you will have the only one digital painting of you anywhere.
All you have to do is comment below and end the comment with I would like to be painted Β
The first 49 people to do so which be listed on my Journal on my profile page and the one person to be painted will be chosen by the UK lottery bonus ball 2 weeks before Christmas.
The only things I ask is that you are a watcher and you can supply a high resolution photo of yourself if you are chosen, and you are OK with me displaying both the finished painting and the reference photo just like

I myself have started to draw portraits, but traditionally. My first one was pretty bad, but I am slowly getting better. It is in this way that I can truly appreciated your artwork, as I know just how hard it can be to get those shapes, proportions, shadows, highlights and midtones just right so it not only resembles a human being, but a certain human being.
My friend, you have smashed the ball out of the park with this one - she looks real, and from what I can tell, resembles the lady used in the ref. image to a high extent ... I can feel her personality in the artwork as well. I love it, it's very well done and you are an excellent artist - keep doing what you do, because you are great at it!!
And I would like to be painted.

Not sure if I qualify since I'm pretty late to the party, but I will say that if I were to ever be painted by you, it would be a huge honor.
I've loved your work for quite some time and I do realize that I've not commented in a long while. I haven't because there wasn't much else for me to say regarding all of your other pieces since I would have just been repeating myself. You are amazing and you're only getting better with each piece. It's kind of like you're documenting your artistic growth with every picture.
Your tutorials have been gigantic helps for me in regards to colors and shades. My coloring has improved in part because of you. I'd like to thank you for that as well as for putting out amazing pieces of work.
