Description
So for the past week I've been doing what I often do regarding (tabletop) rp games which is a lot of overthinking about plots and hints and the like. So long story short I naturally wanted to do something a bit dramatic and drew my moogle surrounded by flowers because symbolism.

I originally posted this and another version of it to my insta and twitter , but I wanted to have this in my dA gallery as well, because it's a lot easier to explain a piece here than either of those (especially twitter). Not that I'm going to especially explain this necessarily but you know, to give the art and the idea a better sort of... platform, I guess.

Among all the overthinking I've also been thinking a lot about Nogmeg, her character and development along this campaign, as well as my own development as a player. Cause apparently I end up thinking these things when I haven't been able to play in over a month :'D

This brown paper is interesting to work with, unfortunately the materials I do have aren't too effective on it. But, I'm still looking forward to experimenting with it. I think I'm also slowly getting more and more comfortable with inking, I still have ways to go but I'm getting there. Another thing I'm kinda forcing myself to learn is that failure is fine, and the first version, even on traditional media, doesn't have to be the final version. Sometimes you just mess up, and it's fine to take a fresh sheet and redraw the picture. Even if you've already finished the previous picture...

Eh, I guess that's rant enough? It's late and I'm really tired cause I haven't slept nearly enough this week, and I just want to post this tbh.

Flowers (or what they're supposed to be I don't know flowers, also I only have so many colours in my collection):

Anemone: Forsaken
Mauve carnation: Dreams of fantasy
(at least it's trying to be mauve and not just purple cause that has a whole different meaning, but like I said, limited palette and mauve and purple are hecka close to each other)
