Considering that a Discord form of a character and the original form of that character are opposites, this is a clever idea. Using Doctor Whooves as Henry Jekyll/Edward Hyde.
Interesting Fact: When Henry Jekyll transforms into Edward Hyde, his physical look not only changes, but also his height and age decreases a tad.

It would be nice to have an alternative to the tumblr story, which I've never really cared for. From what I understand of Jekyll and Hyde, though, it's pretty dark. Maybe a slightly toned-down version would be good...

Yeah. It would be dark, but not grimdark. You can mention stuff like murder in a story without it being grimdark.
Of course, from what I know of the story (which I'll be the first to admit is almost nothing) Dr. Jekyll commits suicide in the end. I'd rather he'd figure out a way to remove Mr. Hyde without having to resort to something so dark. But that's just me.

What I know of it is from a crossover story mixing Jekyll and Hyde and DBZ, which put Krillin in the position of Dr. Jekyll. In that comic, Hyde's exploits are positively filled to the brim with murder, rape, and general debauchery. Needless to say, it's pretty disturbing, so it doesn't surprise me to learn that he ended up killing himself in the original tale.
