Destruction out yonder window awaits
The sky turns black with veins of red flowing
To stay or to flee I thoroughly debate
To what’s in the future, there’s no knowing
I grieve for those who are sealed into fate
Those for whose deaths I’m woefully sewing
A decision just for my greed to sate
My kingdom dies my sorrow is growing
An empire ended and with darkness falls
Watch as the fire of horizon expands
I hear the tortured civilians’ calls
Up towards the sky they raise their dead hands
I walk for last in my false kingdom’s halls
I’m very soon to join the land’s pale sands.
