Woo. Okay! So I started this little project a few days ago. It's for #LoveOCs a club focusing on people and their original characters. They're having a little contest to make a mascot for the group.I was kind of hesitant whether I wanted to do a piece or not, but the idea of making a mascot for a group that focuses on creating characters was kind of intriguing.
You know, if it's a group about fantasy your mascot would probably be fantasy-ish. Sci-fi would be sci-fi-ish. But this group is about original characters of all types. I decided to make a character digitally creating herself. She is the character creator and her own original character.
Or something.
I'm leaning towards Eva as a name.

I actually don't usually get too many comments. Lots of people who just go through and fav, but not many who leave any kind of feedback lol. But that's okay, I post pictures on DA for lots of different reasons, but fame isn't high on my list.

Beautiful job. The colors you chose work great together. I love the concept also.

Likes: The design of the character. Its like a mix of sci fi and traditional. Quite interesting.
Dislikes: The rendering. Its too 'messy' for my tastes. Especially the hair, the strokes are too rigid and harsh. Makes the hair look like a giant block instead of something that is natural.

Me really likes.
I llike all her gadgets (including those in the hair, in fact, I really like her hairstyle). And it's also a great concept, that about her being her own original character.
In the end, black waas the best hair chice, I guess. Would have been too much blue, I didn't notice all of the gadgets were going to be blue xD

I almost wanted to do blue anyway. I tested it a bit but it just was too much. And it didn't show the lighting as well, so I had to go with black. ;c

hahaha I went through a chopstick phase. Was sticking them in my hair all the times. And I made my own crazy chopsticks by drilling a hole through them and taking some fishing line, stringing beads and stuff all over it, and tying it through the hole. I also made my own set of Yuna beads (from FFX / FFX-2) But I didn't have a clip to put it in so I tied it to my hair using a rubber band and eventually I kept ripping my hair out lol.

That's too neat!!! I never got that creative with chopsticks, unfortunately. It sounds utterly lovely what you've done with them though! I really enjoyed the Yuna beads too

I'm actually sick of seeing stick people so it was so refreshing to see a piece of art that showed the true curves of the female body. I think most people today have warped views of what people are suppose to look like because of all the photoshoping that magazines and advertisements use to sell their products. I hope that you keep with this style
