Howlerbey
The howlerbeys evolved in the absence of large carnivores, their ancestors (derived from mangabeys) were very terrestrial , but after the dissapearence of predators they became more suited to live in the ground, evolving a digitigrade locomotion to pursuit it's prey.
Their social structure is very alike to hyenas, with dominant females giving birth and taking care of the young, only the females stay in the troop, when males reach certain age they leave the troop and search of for another, using very loud howls to compete with other males to be able to join the female's troop.
