Description
I was pointing my camera at this Canada goose but when I pressed the shutter, it plunged into the water to get some food. Argh!I met a couple of Canada geese - here is one of them - on the polluted waters of the river bordering the North side of a big city.

May I ask you if the use of a frame is correct for my photos? Feel free to answer, please!

That's the old question I have asked myself many times about my own work being framed on DA. So many people have told me over the time I have been here that they think the frames are hurting my work...distracting the viewer from "seeing" the work. I don't know how that could be because every real gallery in the real world I have been into has the work framed and yet people still see the images. I think its a personal thing. I believe in presentation...and framing is the last part of the process of creating visual art. I think your frames are fine. They are smaller than the size I use and that allows the image to project more on DA. Color is a choice thing too. Many have a problem with my black frames...I know ideally for B&W photography...white frames are the industry's choice. For color I like how you pick a dominate color from within the photo and use that to accentuate the image. So I have no problem with people completing their work...but many many on DA do.
