I have a sister who's in LOVE with owls. She even bought an owl whistle to lure them because they're not really common in our area since we live in the lower part of the town. Owl usually live on higher areas--there's a town about 15 minutes away from us that have owls. So far, no luck. Beautiful owl, by the way. I would've loved to see one up close.

I went to a Nature Preserve when I was in Vermont
a few days ago and they had so amazing owls, eagles and hawks.
I was able to get some amazingly close shots.
