Two questions, do you have any experience with Nuke?Ā And what Maya are you using now, 2014 entertainment creation?

Nuke? Why do you ask? This was just Maya 2014

Just curious, nothing in that render, I have 2011 Maya/3DS Max/Mudbox et. al.Ā Funny thing for me, no matter what I come up with, I always look at it and conclude I can do better, which I can, but it's a spiral that never ends, sigh.Ā
No the question about Nuke was just prompted by the fact that I've been trying to learn it, want to learn how to composite in a photo realistic way.Ā I guess I'd like to try and work in the industry a bit, just to work on a feature film.Ā
Maya is indeed a powerful engine.Ā C++ API is a steep learning curve though.

That's right! all we can do is try to do better! As far as a learning curve goes you don't have to do it in one day.

Man that's the truth, can't be done in a month.Ā I'm trying to do with from the start with a Wacom pen, so I have to discipline myself to not reach for the mouse.Ā It's taking time but it's coming.

This is so cool! Then again, I love pretty much anything to do with the mighty T-Rex, so I may be biased.
